Interactive Information
The District initiates an “interactive process” when a member requests reasonable accommodations to complete or perform their job duties. The District must also offer to initiate an interactive process when they become aware of the possible need for an accommodation. This awareness might come through a third party, by observation, or because the District has exhausted leave benefits but the member still needs reasonable accommodation.
